The Market during the Strike
Riverdale Farm Farmers’ Market will be held on The Boulevard on the north side of Winchester St.
Vendors will park on the north side facing west.Shoppers please park on the South side.
There will be no washroom facilities for shoppers.We have the blessing of Parks Administration and the Union.

Market News: Finally Spring is turning into Summer and the first strawberries will appear at market tomorrow!
Members' Dinner: Because of the uncertainty of access to Riverdale Farm on Thursday June 25th due to the possibility of a strike by outside workers, we are postponing the FRF Members' Dinner until further notice. We were thinking that a Harvest supper in September in the Meeting house might be fun. Sorry for the short notice and your disappointment!

We are looking for volunteers who would like to Bake on Wednesdays with a group from St John’s Bread. There is particularly need for someone to transport dough from the Bakery. As you know the Annual Meeting will be held at Big Mamma’s Boy at Parliament Street. The meeting will be followed by a dinner at 8:30. I am attaching the menu for Dinner. Would you be kind enough you let us know your menu choice if you are coming?
The Friends of Riverdale Farm
Annual General Meeting
Welcome pizza bites during the meeting 7:00pm, Dinner 8:30pm
Dinner menu choices:
-Sherry Patterson's Red Tamworth smoked ham roast with molasses glaze and organic pineapple
-wild caught baked BC Black Cod with unagi glaze;
-chicken roulade (naturally raised chicken from "Fresh from the Farm") stuffed with goat's cheese, black olives, and sundried tomatoes, rolled in bread crumbs and baked
- zucchini amazing, roasted zucchini stuffed with quinoa, goat mozzarella, roasted vegetables and pesto croutons.
All the entrees will be sided with organic mashed potatoes and the best available vegetable.
Flourless chocolate cake with fresh whipping cream for dessert.
Cost per person is $24 plus tax and gratuity.
Drink tickets $6 include house wine, bar rail, draft, or domestic beer. Cash bar is also available. Pop is complimentry
