The Farm is open year round 9am to 5pm.

Admission to the Farm is free.

The Farm is wheelchair & stroller accessible via asphalt pathways.

There is ample street parking along Winchester, Sumach and Carlton Streets.

Dogs, pets of any sort, bicycles, rollerskates, recreational scooters, in-line skates or children's riding toys are not allowed within the Farm compounds.

Bicycles may gain access to the Bike Path along the Don River or over the Don Valley Parkway to Riverdale Park East via the park path and roadway south of the Farm (outside the Farm compounds).

Feeding of Farm animals of any food, grass, leaves, or flowers is strictly prohibited.

The Farm Kitchen serves refreshments in Simpson House from 10am to 3pm.

Picnic tables are available in Riverdale Park West for picnic lunches on first come first serve basis.

Unique gifts for all ages and budget at The Shop at the Farm in Simpson House. Hours: 10am to 3pm

Forsythia Kids' Playground is located at the east end of Wellesley Street, just a short walk, north of the Farm.

Farmers' Market is at Riverdale Park West (in front of the Farm) every Tuesday, rain or shine 3pm to 7pm during the growing season (May to October).

There is a seasonal (July and August) wading pool in Riverdale Park West and a lovely outdoor pool in Riverdale Park East.

Washroom facilities are wheelchair accessible and are located in Simpson House.

How to get to the Farm
By Car
Exit DVP at Bayview Avenue South. Procced to River Street. Turn right (west) on Gerrard Street East to Sumach Street. Turn right again (north) on Sumach Street to Winchester Street. The Farm is on the right.

Exit Gardiner Expressway at Jarvis Street. Go north on Jarvis Street. Turn right (east) on Gerrard Street. Turn left (north) on Sumach Street (sign-posted) and right (east) on Winchester Street.

From Danforth Avenue, go west on Prince Edward Viaduct towards Bloor Street East, keep left and turn left onto Parliament Street (first lights after Castle Frank Road/Subway Station). "Riverdale Farm" is sign-posted near the traffic lights. Proceed south on Parliament to Winchester, turn left onto Winchester and proceed to the end of the street. The Farm is on the right.

Exit Bayview Avenue Extension at River Street. Turn right (west) on Gerrard Street East to Sumach Street. Turn right again (north) on Sumach Street to Winchester Street. The Farm is on the right.

By Public Transit TTC
From Castle Frank Subway Station, get on Parliament bus and get off at Winchester. Walk east to the end of the street. The Farm is on the right.

From College or Queens Park Subway Station, hop onto the eastbound streetcar and get off at Sumach Street, east of Parliament. Walk north to Carlton Street, then through the Riverdale Park West. The Farm is located at the east end of the Park.
